Two Faces Bombay Matches

Do we have some visitors from Bombay on this website? I recently stumbled upon this interesting box of matches that holds multiple meaning illusion. Anyone encountered them in real life? I’m interested in your opinion – which of the faces you see first? Which one is harder to notice? I would go with the left one being harder to spot.

Concerning the website, as you see we have bunch of new people helping and providing articles. This way we have much more material to post, and we cover user submissions more efficiently. I’m just not sure if too many posts per day can make you, my visitors turn away from the site? What is your opinion on this? Also our daily visitor count has fallen over the past few days, so I would appreciate if you guys could help us out, and share the moillusions.com link through social bookmarking pages, your myspace profiles, forums your participate in, and in spoken word. This would be hugely appreciated, and we can give you compensation in a way of a gift, or something if you manage to bring additional visitors.

Your opinions and suggestions really count! I would like to share this positive example: we recently allowed pop-unders on this site as addtional source of revenue, but then reader Michael Duke complained that they are to intrusive, so we decided to pull them of. You see how every email can make a difference? Hope you realize we care for you!

  1. I would say one post per day. Just a personal opinion. I really only check this once a day, if there were more than one in a day comments wouldn’t get seen either. I like the comments being able to get conversation and discussion going on each different illusion.

  2. For me, it’s necesary to cover the forehead’s wrinkles to see the old man’s face… The child’s one is far easier to see.

  3. i think minimum post 1 per day, maximum 3. as for this illusion, not bad, but not the best on here. however dont be offended, its a classic illusion all the same

  4. Only one, maybe two but they would have to be spread out because most people, including me, only check once a day. IMO the widget should take us to the homepage of this site so we can see the new post and maybe one that we missed if there happens to be a second in the same day…but thats just me :)
Keep up the good work great site!!!

  5. More posts do not necessarily make this site any better. As it is, I only visit this site twice a day via my widget (once after I switch my computer on, once before I switch it off), and I do not usually stray to the homepage to see if there were any more illusions posted through the day.
However, I am not put off by the idea of more frequent posts, I just won’t visit more often simply because of that. Also, I do agree with Ashleigh’s opinion on the matter: I do enjoy the discussions on this site occasionally (as long as they aren’t founded by someone who insists that every illusion on this site has been photoshopped).
As for the illusion, =), it’s nice, although the one on the left looks like he has an odd-looking third eye to me (the right’s nose). But I’ve probably listened to too much Tool (and had too little sleep)
Anyway, I do think your site is great, and all of your illusions, and even the other commenters! (even though it ticks me off to read comments compaining about the illusions simply because they worked it out in 0.005 nanoseconds and so are obviously entitled to slag it off and say that it isn’t good enough for them)
I think I’ve ranted enough, and I hope I haven’t offended anyone (at least not too badly) ;)

  6. I think this illusion is well freaky but despite what others say it took me 4 minutes to see the childs face whereas i saw the other straight away, strange!

  7. Very clever! The girl’s face was quickly apparent, but I had to run my eyes down to the beard to adjust to the man’s face.

  8. Further, the girl is still obvious upside down, but I don’t find the man’s face obvious upside down. The mouth is the catalyst for a feminine perspective both ways.

  9. I would say however you like. I come on here almost every day and I absolutely love how the illusions trick you instantly or you have to trick YOUR OWN mind. I say keep them coming!
