I had troubles writing description for this illusion, since many people had different experience with it. Some said it gave them hedache, some thought they see imagionary cricles and spheres, some had opinnion that the image is “alive” and expanding… well, this is the reason I wont YOU to tell me what you think about it? When I move near and back the image, I can see a 3D ball
For some reason it seems to wave back and forth at the edges, almost like it’s bending slightly in the middle. That may just be because I’m tired, though!

If I look at it long enough with my eyes slightly unfocused it kinda takes on a 3D appearance like those hidden image 3D pictures. It’s been a really long week though so it could just be my tired eyes….

Wow…it kinda trapped me. I unfocused my eyes like you would do with one of those digital “can you see the image?” posters and it totally sucked me in and it was hard to get out of!
To me if you move back and forward it seems like a sphere that kind of warps between small and large

It’s odd. I see expanding and contracting plus signs, squares, and pentagons. Every once in a while, it bulges out in the center.

I got the Darkmind sphere effect and a light headache.
I see a large 3d sphere in the middle, but then it transforms into a latrge square. Pretty neat, a classic illusion.

It is not a moving block or circle illusion. If you stare at it long enough, all the squares should start to look the same size.

me and my friend see a big sphere when you move closer and further away from it. When you move closer the sphere appears and awway… it goes away. Also, it has a yellow tint to it.

Princess, age 6 – I can see a circle, white squares and black squares.

It depends on how far away I am when looking at it. I am using a laptop on a desk and if I am sitting up close to the desk, thereby close to the screen it has a bulge and my eyes want to unfcus like when veiwung the illusions where you can se a 3D image in a patterned feild. When I sat back in my chair it was prtty much static unless I moed my eyes from place to place.

Humm. I’ve got positives and negatives about this one. Negatives are that it takes a bit to see, and if you dont see anything after a bit it becomes less interesting. On the other hand, you can use your imagination on this one, and see a circle within the squares, like your earlier illusion with the more cut-out squares. Also, your mind may or may not see that circle perpetually expanding. It gives room for imagination :D

just move your head towards the screen. a large sphere will come out at you. similarly, moving backwards will create the opposite effect.
i see the whole pic shaking, and it give off a misty lighty-thingy, like the borders are fading. Then i get a headache. :(
I see phantom colors, tunnel vision, the “are the lines really crooked?” illusion, phantom spheres, if I bring my eyes close to my monitor as if to try to see a 3D image it looks like a bumpy wall with the white squares being the bumps, if I blur my vision I can almost see what appears to be someone’s portrait, if I move back and forth (closer and farther away from the monitor) it seems to get kind of a latex looking texture to it and moves in the same direction, and when I look at it for about 30 seconds and look at my hand it looks like my skin is crawling. There is a LOT going on in this little illusion and that’s all within just a few minutes of looking! I’m sure that if I spent more time on it, I could probably find more. I like it!
if you stare at it for more than a minute you start getting headaches after like 10 minutes or so you can see a bunch of weird things in the image acording to your imagination…i like it…
