Hybrid images are able to change interpretation as a function of viewing distance. In these examples below, you might think that what you are seeing is absoulte. But ask someone to tell you what he sees while looking at the pictures from a few meters away. You may get really different answer from yours. So follow these steps: first open this article to see whole set of pictures, then open them full screen, then observe them closely. Now step few meters from your computer screen and look again.
